Test Credit Card Transactions

When you select "Test Mode" for events and contribution pages you can go through the complete event registration or contribution process - right to the confirmation email! - without having to use an actual credit card.

But you can't just use any old credit card - you have to use special card numbers. These numbers vary with each card processor (Authorize.net vs PayPal), and some card numbers represent "good" cards that will be approved and others are "bad" cards that will be rejected.

The following test credit card numbers will only work in the Authorize.net test screens. Use any expiration date after today’s date. If the card code is required, please use any 3-digit combination for Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Diners Club, EnRoute, and JCB; use a 4-digit combination for American Express.
